The Business Centre is located in the lobby of the Auditorium (G area). Services are at the delegates' own expense.

ERS Connect (sponsored by NYCOMED)

ERS Connect, a new service from ERS, givesCongress delegates free onsite WiFi access. WiFi cards are included in the Congress bag and will also be available at the Nycomed stand in the exhibition hall.

ERS Connect areas come equipped with work stations complete with internet drops and power points.

The ERS Connect area is situated on the balcony overlooking the exhibition hall. Delegates without laptops or internet-enabled phones can also access the web via internet connection at the same locations.

Dates and opening hours

Children and Accompanying Persons

Please do not take children and accompanying persons to scientific sessions. Children aged under 16 years must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Please contact your hotel for babysitters' contacts.

Cloakroom

A cloakroom service for coats and reasonably sized luggage is available during the opening hours of the Congress.

Data scanning system

Congress badges will contain a barcode—acting as an electronic business card—to enable visitors to leave their contact details for exhibitors quickly and easily.ation

Dress code

Dress will be informal throughout the Congress. ERS reserves the right to refuse access when deemed necessary for the comfort and safety of all delegates.

Exhibition access

Access to the exhibition will be limited to participants over the age of 16 years who are respiratory professionals.

Hotel Desk

A Hotel Desk will be available in the ERS Registration Area from Saturday 24 September to Wednesday 28 September, during Congress opening hours.

Insurance and disclaimer

ERS accepts no liability for injuries and/or losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

Language

The official language of the Congress is English. No translation will be provided.

Lunch and refreshments

No official meals will be provided. Meal facilities at the Congress centre include cafeterias and restaurants. A number of bars and coffee/snack points serve sandwiches and snacks.

Sightseeing Tours

A Sightseeing Tours Desk located in the ERS Registration Area will provide information on tours and registration. It will be open from Saturday, 24 September to Wednesday, 28 September during Congress opening hours.

Smoking

Amsterdam RAI has been smoke-free since 1 July 2008. The smoking ban applies to all RAI buildings, including the catering locations and garages.

As smoking is a major cause of lung disease, ERS further asks Congress participants and exhibitors not to smoke in any area of Amsterdam RAI and its surroundings.
