Hotel Rating Price Range (in euros)

The minimum and maximum rates are based on single/double occupancy. All hotels offer bath or shower/WC and breakfast facilities. Hotels of 4 and 5 stars generally have a restaurant and bar.

All rates (per room/night) include breakfast, Dutch VAT (19%) but exclude 5% city tax (city of Amsterdam) or 6% city tax (Schiphol Airport region). Rates are for standard rooms. Other types of rooms (superior, deluxe, junior suite etc.) are available upon request. Prices are indicative and may be subject to change.

Reservation

Due to limited room availability in Amsterdam, you are advised to make your reservation as early as possible in order to have the best choice of available hotels.

Hotel accommodation is subject to availability and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis. Requests received after 24 June 2011 cannot be guaranteed, although Amsterdam RAI Hotel & Travel Service will make every effort to meet participants' requirements.

All reservations must be made in writing using the booking form. Telephone reservations will not be accepted.

If the selected hotel(s) is sold out, Amsterdam RAI Hotel & Travel Service reserves the right to book a hotel in an alternative category and price range.

Payment and confirmation

To secure your reservation:

For individual reservations (up to 9 hotel rooms), Amsterdam RAI Hotel & Travel Service requires a guarantee in the form of a valid credit card for each individual reservation.

For group reservations (10 hotel rooms and above), two options are open:

• 1. Bed & Breakfast, i.e. your company prepays room, tax and breakfast. Any additional charges must be paid by the guests upon departure and a guarantee supplied upon arrival.
• 2. Clients Own Account, i.e. your company guarantees only the rooms and your guests pay all costs upon departure. To guarantee the reservations, a 25% refundable deposit is required. Charges for cancellations or no-shows will be deducted from the deposit.

Please note that hotels will not accept any changes or cancellations addressed directly to them.

All bookings and transactions are subject to the UVH conditions (Uniform Condition of the Hotel & Catering Industry in the Netherlands)

Individual Reservations (up to 9 hotel rooms):
Cancellation costs of an individual reservation and no shows: fifteen euros (€ 15) administration costs per room. Cancellations should be received before 16:00 hrs (CET) 2 days prior to arrival. Cancellations for reservations with arrival on Monday and Tuesday should be received by Friday before 16:00 hrs (CET). For cancellations and no-shows within that period, the hotel is entitled to charge one room night fee by debiting the credit card. A few hotels charge for the entire stay. In case of no-show, your room will be cancelled at 12 noon the following day.

Group Reservations (10 hotel rooms and above)

• Room nights cancelled more than 3 months prior to the first arrival date: no charge.
• Room nights cancelled less than 3 months prior to the first arrival date: 15% of the total accommodation price* will be charged.
• Room nights cancelled less than 2 months prior to the first arrival date: 35% of the total accommodation price will be charged.
• Room nights cancelled less than 1 month prior to the first arrival date: 60% of the total accommodation price will be charged.
• Room nights cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the first arrival date: 85% of the total accommodation price will be charged.
• Room nights cancelled less than 1 week prior to the first arrival date: 100% of the total accommodation price will be charged.

* the total accommodation price is the number of rooms x the number of nights reserved.
